Automatic transmission binding
After replacing the automatic transmission on BMW E, F and G series vehicles, software binding to your vehicle is required.
This is because a used automatic transmission already contains an individual synchronization code, ISN, from the vehicle it was removed from. If the ISN in your vehicle does not match the ISN in the transmission, the vehicle will not allow a gear to be engaged and movement to begin.
We perform binding for:
- ZF 6HP
- ZF 8HP
- Aisin
The binding is performed without removing or disassembling the transmission, only through the OBD diagnostic connector using professional specialized equipment.
All actions are safe for vehicle electronics and do not affect other systems.
Remote programming is also possible. We can bind the automatic transmission to your vehicle even if you are in another city or country. This requires access to the vehicle and an internet connection.
